Toys, bugs, monsters, superheroes, fish, cars, robots. Pixar has done it all, and brilliantly (Ok, Cars wasn’t great. How do they, you know, make babies?). So, where to from here? Time for a simple tale of an old man turning his house into a hot air balloon and setting sail for South America with a boy scout in tow…Who came up with that idea? How did the movie exec types react when they heard it? How did it get made? I don’t know, but it did, and we should all be thankful for that, because ‘Up’ is another worthy addition to a long line of Pixar classics.
