One of Dublin’s newer venues, Iveagh Gardens is often described using that dreaded of descriptive words, intimate. But in this case it really is, and intimate isn’t a cover for we’re afraid it won’t sell out. The gardens played host to the recent Taste of Dublin, a delightful weekend of culinary treats in the heart of the city centre. It will open it’s gates again next week for 3 nights of music and again the following week for a long weekend of comedy. Here’s how it’s shaping up:
18 July – Rufus Wainwright & band. More info here.
20 July – The Waterboys with special guests The Unthanks and Katie Kim. More info here.
21 July – Lisa Hannigan with special guests Cathy Davey, Other Lives and CHAMPS. Part of [PIAS] Nites. More info here.
26 – 29 July – Vodafone Comedy Festival featuring a wealth of Irish and international comedians. Full line up here.
