MadArt are giving it away.
After the amazing exhibition In Your Hands at MadArt Gallery, where an art collection worth €20,000 was given for free to people at the opening, organisers have decided to continue giving away completed artworks every first Saturday of each month.
The only problem is that people don’t believe that they will get something for free. Sometimes a painting is hanging attached to the pink bike outside for half a day before it’s taken. People see it but they are afraid to take it, so MadArt are doing their best to spread the word about this unique project.
Every first Saturday of each month MadArt Gallery leaves a small painting or a sketch with a note “PLEASE TAKE ME” attached to the pink bike just beside the door of the gallery. Whoever’s passing is allowed to take the art work with no questions asked. They have just one condition You have to love it and appreciate it. The lovely people at MadArt want to make art available to everyone.
