Starring Dennis Quaid and the underrated Ben Foster, Pandorum is a sci-fi/horror set aboard a spaceship. The two leads are astronauts suffering from memory loss aboard a deserted spaceship (or is it? Obviously).
The phrase “Alien meets Memento” was definitely said at some point when this film was being pitched. But the piecing together of the puzzle is handled well and there are plenty of shocks along the way. The monster on board concept from Alien has been ripped off a lot over the years. This is one of the few films that does it well. Pity about the name though.
