I’ve said it before, Beyonce can’t act, she can sing, but she definitely can’t act. Another actor from HBO’s excellent show “The Wire” appearing on the big screens at the moment is Idris Elba (a.k.a Stringer Bell) plays Derek, the object of his new temp, Lisa’s, fatal attraction. Did somebody say fatal attraction? Obsessed is like Fatal Attraction for the Idiocracy generation.
It’s predictable, boring and over-acted. Lisa played by Ali Larter is mono-acted as is Sharon, played by Knowles. First time film director Shill does nothing to encourage emotion from his actors and likewise from the audience. The fight scene is wrong and entirely unconvincing, perhaps entertaining though. TK
