If you get a chance to catch this lady, do it. She’s full of energy and puts on an amazing show. She also did a great cover of Robert Johnson’s Hellhound on my Trail and finished up the night with a lively crowd pleasing version of Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire. Support on the night came in an unusual package. Two lads from North Carolina who are farming their way around the country. The are travelling from town to town offering to work on farms in exchange for accomodation and hitting up the local pubs for any form of open mic type spot. It seems to be working, currently they are working (and living) in Slane Castle, how rock n’ roll!
