Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats announce European tour

Nathaniel Rateliff & his new, wall rattling 7piece band, The Night Sweats, bring their unique brand of soul back Europe for a 16 date tour this Autumn. Their first sold-out London headline show at The Lexington last month prompted rave reviews, with The Guardian proclaiming it ‘one of the best shows all year’. The tour will follow the release of their self-titled debut album, which is due for release on 21 August via the legendary Stax label and Caroline International.

In conjunction with this, the band have also just revealed a brilliant, Blues Brothers themed video for new track ‘S.O.B’ (watch it above). Directed by Greg Barnes, the video shows The Night Sweats wreaking havoc in jail with a performance of the track. Partly a rebuke, partly a cry of defiance, “S.O.B” is the album’s linchpin track and already a firm live favourite. The accompanying video provides a tantalising glimpse of what to expect from this absolutely unmissable tour.
