Meath supports Haiti

Submitted by admin on Monday, 25 January 20103 Comments

fiachBoyles Pub in Slane will be hosting a fundraiser for Haiti on Friday 5th February. Acts confirmed so far include Fiach (www.myspace.com/fiachmusic) and The Dirty 9s (www.myspace.com/thedirty9s) with two local Meath bands in the pipelines to be announced.

Andrew Cassidy in Boyles is generously donating €300 to get the ball rolling. There will be no cover charge at the door but the aim is to raise €1000 through raffles and a donation bucket. This promises to be another great night in Boyles.

We’ve postponed this gig until Holy Thursday April 1st. We want to make sure it’s a special evening and that it’s done properly. Also there’s a great gig in Navan we want to support for Oxjam in The Backroom.
