Republic of Loose have announced their only Dublin headline show of 2009. The Loose will see the year out with a show at The Academy on Tuesday December 22nd. Tickets priced €25 including booking fee go on sale on Monday 28th September.

“The Loose” are known for their energetic shows and their mix of special guests performing with them. Special guests last year included Sinead O’Connor, Damien Dempsey, Shane MacGowan and Gavin Friday. Their last show at the Academy which featured Don Baker and Gavin Friday has, according to the PR company “passed into legend”. The audience were treated to a two hour show featuring a brass and string section.
