Looking for Eric made it’s big screen premier at the Cannes Film Festival this year, so going by that fact you can hope to expect a deeper story line than your average blockbuster. Eric Bishop (Evets) is a postman on the edge. He still pines after his ex wife, never a good idea!
His quirky friends do their best to cheer him up, but to no avail. In a rock bottom moment of complete despair he speaks to his poster of Eric Cantona (we’ve all done it!) and well… Cantona speaks back and offers much needed (imaginary) words of wisdom and companionship to Eric Bishop. It’s a feel good movie, with laugh out loud moments and really likable characters. TK
