Le Cheile had proudly been bringing music and arts to the people of Meath for 11 years. Each year the festival features a range of art forms, including art/drama workshops and performances, street theatre, Viking reenactment, poetry, comedy and more with the emphasis on innovation and diversity.
They have also played host to some fine acts over the years including The Hothouse Flowers, Something Happens, Aslan, The Frames, The Saw Doctors, Jack L, Shane MacGowan, Republic of Loose, The Blizzards, The Flaws, Cathy Davey, and Des Bishop.
Last night Le Cheile held the first of their two launch nights in The Church, Dublin. The second launch night will be held in the fesitvals home town of Oldcastle on June 13th in Creens Pub, and admission is free!
