Gordon Double-Barrell is part of a generation of child actors that are now coming of age. (Him and Kieran Culkin – the little lad who wets himself from Home Alone and Macaulay’s younger and apparently more talented brother). He, Gordon Double-Barrell, is the star of the show. Inception is to this generation’s over-excited film geek what The Matrix was to me. It’s visually enthralling and mentally bashing, but in a good way. Chris Nolan has spun an intricate web of mind layers especially for our furrowed brows of confusion and awe. Each layer of the film takes you deeper into the dreamy subconscious, quite literally at some points… I think.
Critics are loving it and you will love it to. The hype has convinced us that this film will be the smartest, coolest film you’ve ever seen. This idea has been planted in our heads without us even knowing it.
