Starring Rudd of Anchorman / 40-year old Virgin fame as Peter happily sailing through life, but when he gets engaged to Zooey he realises he has nobody to ask to be his best man. He just never really had friends. He embarks on a number of ‘man dates’ in order to meet some friends. Needless to say this bizarre idea didn’t deliver until one day he meets Sydney (Segel, the writer and star of Forgetting Sarah Marshell) at an open house showing… an ideal candidate for the best friend he never had. The two hit it off immediately and despite Peter’s many cringe worthy what-did-I-just-say moments their bromance develops into friendship. Segal and Rudd are great actors and this is an enjoyable movie, do it. TK
