  • Baby Dee to play Crawdaddy on Friday 26th February. Former circus sideshow performer and classically trained harpist Baby Dee serves up a set of unique ballads from her soon to be released new album “A Book of Songs for Anne Marie”. The follow-up to 2008’s “Safe Inside the Day” was produced and arranged by Maxim Moston from one of our favorite bands Antony and the Johnsons. It’s set for release here on March 1st.
  • Hayseed Dixie, have completed their 8th full-length studio album. “Killer Grass” is either Hayseed Dixie’s absolute greatest musical achievement or absolute worst offence yet, depending on your personal perspective! The CD DVD package contains 7 original compositions along with 6 reinterpretations of previously known songs about drinking, cheating, killing and hell – with a particular emphasis on murder and death. The DVD contains music videos for 6 songs as well as 5 instructional “tutorial” videos addressing everything from how to play rockgrass banjo, to how to hide the body. On the road on tour throughout 2010, the suspects are known to be armed with acoustic instruments and should be considered extremely dangerous. The album is out on February 8th.

Here’s the dates:
February 18 – Thursday – Galway, Roisin Dubh
February 19 – Friday – Limerick, Dolan’s
February 20 – Saturday – Dublin, Tripod
February 21 – Sunday – Cork, Cyprus Avenue
February 22 – Monday – Belfast, Spring & Airbrake
