These English lads, released their debut, self titled album back in 2008. Their extensive touring and amazing live performances catapulted them to stardom, so they decided to re-release the album this month.
The funky, indie, shoegazers have been together since they met at school at the age of 14 and this history creates a perfect harmony between the band members, Ed Mac, Jack Savidge and Edd Gibson.
There is a lot of live drums with samples underneath the tracks which works to make songs like” “Paris”, Jump in the Pool”, “Photobooth” and new single “Kiss of Life” work.
Fans who saw them at Oxegen will be delighted to see the re-release and that they were short listed for a Mercury Prize this year. FD
