Dublin International Film Festival today announced a new three-year title sponsorship deal with Audi. From 2016, the film festival will be officially known as the Audi Dublin International Film Festival. ADIFF, that’ll do.
Gaby Smyth, Chair of the Festival Board, commented: “This new partnership marks the beginning of a fantastic new chapter for the festival. It’s time now to focus on next year’s event, which is shaping up to be an exceptional programme. Since its inception in 2003, the festival has grown in breadth and quality of participation, recognition and international standing as can easily be evidenced through partnerships with brands such as Audi.”
Plans are well underway for the 2016 Festival with some exciting pre-Christmas programme announcements imminent.
If you’re like us, you can call it what you like. We’re still sticking with Lansdown Road, The Point and the Grand Canal Theatre, we’re not sure if that’s old school or just old. Sponsors aside though, they have a great deal on for early-birds, if you’re stuck for a present for the cinephile in your life. Check them out here. The DIFF runs from 18 and 28 February 2016 across the city.
