Bolt (voice of John Travolta) the dog is accidentally shipped from the Hollywood studios of his hit TV show to New York City. Believing it’s part of the plot he begins his biggest adventure yet. Convinced he’s a super hero and not realising he’s actually in the real world (Buzz Lightyear style) Bolt sets out across America back to his owner and co-star, Penny (voice of Miley Cyrus).
It follows in the all too fresh footsteps of Tropic Thunder, not to mention other animal classics such as Lassie or that one with Michael J. Fox. But despite their lack of originality, it’s a great kids movie and if it’s endorsed by Miley Cyrus, it’s bound to be a hit. (That reminded me – Michael J. Fox’s one is called Homeward Bound) And you can watch it in 2d or 3d, check out your local cinema to see if they show 3d. Always worth it. TK
