Body & Soul have revealed some more musical surprises this week. Nicolas Jaar, who released one of the albums of the year ‘Space is Only Noise’ in February, makes his maiden voyage to Ireland on the Solstice weekend after headlining the Thursday night at the world acclaimed Sonar Music Festival in Barcelona. This show will feature a four-piece band including an array of keyboards, synths and live vocals.
Lisa Hannigan will be giving fans a first chance to hear her forthcoming second album as well as established classics from her Mercury and Choice-nominated 2009 debut album ‘Sea Sew’.
Also featuring will be Barcelona’s Delorean for their first Irish gig, Roxy DJ Don Letts will be bringing some reggae sounds to Ballinlough, while Donal Dineen’s recording project Parish will feature Liam O Maonlaoi, Ronan O Snodaigh and Congolese musicians Niwel Tsumbu and Aminah Dastan .
