The title has yet to be locked down, but here is the first official image of Andrew Garfield as Marvel Comic’s superhero Spider-Man. It’s rumored to be a darker remake of the Spider-Man story, taking us back to the teenage years of Peter Parker (we can see a possible school bag strap on his shoulder in the picture, still pretty buff for a teenager though).
Directed by Mark Webb, best know for directing a lengthy list of music videos and more recently directing blockbuster (500) Days of Summer, starring Emma Stone as Parker’s love interest Gwen Stacey and Rhys Ifans as the villain.
