Dustin O’Halloran and Adam Wiltzie are back with this taster for a forthcoming album. The stately drift of the title track was written to soundtrack a Wayne McGregor dance project. The processed strings are very Zen, very evocative of Stars of the Lid. The piece feels like a real journey.
Elsewhere we get a wintry outtake from their debut album and a Greenhouse ‘re-interpretation’ of Atomos VII – even more ambience. It’s available via Erased Tapes (Nils Frahm, Peter Broderick, Olofur Arnaulds) which should be all the recommendation you need.
