Playback as Soon as You Hear
Playback has already enjoyed an enthusiastic success from previous performances in Anseo on Camden St, and if you haven’t attended one yet, now is the perfect time to do so. The creators and performers of Playback believe that we all have stories to tell, and it is their mission to tell them. Playback takes true stories fro the audience’s lives and turns them into spontaneous theatre through improvisation. Sad, funny, frightening – it doesn’t matter, they are all stories to tell. Playback just wants to borrow them for a little while.
09 July at 8.30pm at Anseo, Camden St and 12 July at 8pm in The Exchange, Dublin.
Flux
Aoife Nic returns to the Pearse Centre with Flux, the one woman show that she has both written and performs in. Flux focuses on the relationship between three people: singer Una, songwriter Mary and manager Dara. Aoife Nic has been praised for her virtuoso performance of three very different characters, and set in the Georgian surroundings of The Pearse Centre, this is definitely a show to catch.
Pearse Centre (Upstairs), 09-12 July, 8pm
