Story Map
If you fancy an evening with a bit of everything, then Story Map is for you. A project based on the internet, Story Map aims to capture the personality and atmosphere of Dublin city, street by street, through story and tellers of stories. These true stories cover any number of topics and a myriad of people, and are then filmed and integrated into an online map of our fair city. Bang Bang’s Forty Coats – Part Deux assembles performers of stories, music and comedy for an evening of rich entertainment.
The Workmans, 07 July, 7.30pm
Spinal Krapp
In essence, a ‘Stand-up Tragedy’, the Spinal Krapp monologue, illustrates the light side of dark experience and our inability to hide ourselves with manufactured memory. Based on a boy who grows up in an overcrowded house, in an overcrowded housing estate, this sixty-minute show is part public story-telling, part stand-up comedy and part serious theatre.
The Pearse Centre, 07 July (& 11-14th July), 9pm.
